Hi, I’m Janelle – the photographer and filmmaker behind Janelle Rose Photos & Films. Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, I’ve spent the last 10+ years embracing the charm of the Austin area, which I now call home.

 

My husband and I have two beautiful kids, and becoming a mom has deepened my appreciation for capturing family memories. Life moves so quickly, and nothing has made me more aware of this than watching my own children grow. That’s why I’m especially passionate about family sessions – both photos and video! These moments aren’t just for now but for generations to come.

With 8 years as a software engineer and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at El Paso, I bring technical expertise to every session. Your photos and videos are handled with precision and care, from the initial capture to the final delivery.

I specialize in blending heartfelt photography with cinematic video storytelling. Family films, in particular, have become a cornerstone of my work. There’s something magical about seeing your loved ones’ laughter, the tiny details of everyday moments, and the joy of connection come to life on film.
